Dalet

The fourth letter of the Alephbet is Dalet which is pronounced with the emphasis on the first syllable - 'dah-let'. This is another character that can sometimes appear with a dagesh mark but as with Gimmel, the dagesh makes no difference to the usage or pronunciation.
