Yod

'Yod' is a very important character, being the one that appears most commonly in the Scriptures as well as being the smallest:

When pronounced, the letter rhymes with 'lode' or 'mode', generally being used in words as is the 'y' in 'yellow' or 'yes'. However, this letter is sometimes softened into the sound of a double 'ee' as it would be pronounced in 'Greek' or 'feel'.

When there is a Yod at the end of a word, it suggests 'of me' or 'my'.
